Zero Waste Week Timeline
Pluswipes took on an enormous challenge all in the worthy name of saving the environment! As a team, we decided to halt the disposing of rubbish as a way of reducing waste in landfills. It was a challenging and fulfilling week. According to our impact survey, #ZeroWasteWeek prompted most employees to make lifestyle changes at home towards a greener lifestyle. Have a look at our #ZeroWasteWeek timeline to find out more about what we got up to:
Monday 27th
We started the week off with a sweet tooth as we organised a Macmillan bake off dedicated to raising funds for the Macmillan Cancer Foundation. A delicious cake was served along with scrumptious homemade cookies which encouraged generous donations.

On #GivingTuesday, the team here at Pluswipes collected clothes to donate to the homeless in our community. And what a generous turnout it was!

We then introduced our Pluswipes customized #ZeroWasteWeek bottles to the company. Our water bottle initiative, is aimed at eliminating the need to buy plastic water bottles. Instead, we reused the customized Pluswipes bottles thus helping to reduce the amount of plastic bottles dumped in landfills.
